In skin care, this hydrosol is a strong anti-inflammatory. It makes a wonderful toner and is helpful for oily or acne prone skin. Also recommended as a makeup remover.
It eases sting of insect bites and sunburn. It can also help ease muscular aches and arthritic conditions.
Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is calming and both safe and recommended for use in baby care formulations. Its remarkable calming properties makes it a wonerful addition to sprays for baby's room, baby's bathwater, and for use to wipe after diaper changes. It is a strong anti-inflammatory and can be used as a soothing wetting agent for natural baby wipes.
This hydrosol can also be blended with our Lavender Hydrosol for a synergistic anti-inflammatory and calming blend. Dabbing the hydrosol on the gums of a teething baby can provide soothing relief. Or just dip a folded piece of muslin into the cooled hydrosol, squeeze it out well, and lay along baby's jawline.
