Echinacea Purpurea Herb, Organic, C & S (sold by the ounce)
Echinacea, commonly referred to as “coneflower,” is a genus of nine different herbaceous plants native to North America. The two primary species used in herbal preparations are E. Angustifolia and E. Purpurea, which are often used interchangeably. It’s one of the most widely used plants in herbalism, and Native Americans relied extensively upon it. Once widely spread, over-harvesting has greatly reduced wild populations, and it’s most commonly found now in cultivation.
