Hawthorn Berries, also referred to as haws, have been used since the 19th century as a tonic. Hawthorn Berries are tiny fruits from the shrubs of several Crataegus species, which are native to Europe. Our hawthorn berries are tart but mildly sweet with a slight hint of apple, which adds a familiar flavor to many recipes.
